Celebrities Quotes

Amanda Donohoe
"We're all bisexual at birth, like a clean slate. My first sexual experiences were with women and if a woman came into my life who was absolutely stunning and satisfied me emotionally, intellectualy and sexually, I'm not going to draw the line and say 'I can't because you're a woman'. I find it hard enough to find someone to be with with - why narrow the field?"

Sophie B. Hawkins
"If I'm making love to a woman that I love, I wouldn't necessarily be a lesbian just because she might call herself that. I feel my sexuality is as individual as my soul, and it keeps getting enriched."

Geri Halliwell
When asked who's the sexiest man she knows, she replied: "I think there are sexier women than men,"

Janet Jackson
"I was in a relationship with a man I didn't love and I fell in love with this woman and all I wanted was to break up from him".

Angelina Jolie on co-star Elizabeth Mitchell in Gia
"I was looking forward to kissing her and touching her and watching her discover that and hopefully, enjoy it. I think she did. I become more romantic with women. I love women. I hope gay people, gay women, are happy about it (the movie). Anything that felt that good couldn't possibly be bad."

Kathy on her relationship with Madonna in High School
"In the beginning we told ourselves the only reason we were kissing each other was because we needed to practice", says Kathy. Soon though they realised it was more to it than that.. "It was a full romantic relationship, it wasn't just about sex".

Linda Perry of the 4 Non Blondes
"I don't preach about being gay, or march down the street. I don't believe in gay ways. In fact, I get very discouraged about the gay community. They're full of shit. They're segregated. They bullshit about how we need to be looked at equally in this world, yet they totally put down a straight couple walking through the Castro. What the fuck is that kind of bullshit?"

Alicia Silverstone on a waitress she juz met
When I was in Australia recently, I was at this restaurant called Stephanie's, which is the highest-class restaurant possible, and there was this waitress working there. And I was so fascinated with her. Everyone was talking to me, and I was much more interested in the waitress. She looked like she came out of this old movie, with these pouty little lips, rosy and sweet. I wrote her this letter that said, "You're the most lovely beautiful waitress I've ever experienced, and thank you so much."

J-Lo plays a les-bo
Actor-singer-all-around-hottie Jennifer Lopez plays a lesbian in "Gigli," a new film by Martin Brest ("Midnight Run"). Ben Affleck co-stars as a hit man who kidnaps the attorney general's mentally challenged brother. Lopez is a fellow crook who participates in the crime and possibly turns the tables on Affleck. Unfortunately, the film will not have any lesbian love scenes, according to Lopez's representatives. Brest scripted the film, which also features Al Pacino and Christopher Walken in supporting roles. Lopez, who joined the cast after Halle Berry dropped out, was also rumored to be playing Frida Kahlo in Francis Ford Coppola's biopic about the bisexual painter, but that project has been temporarily shelved.

Celebrity Quotes

"Just by being out you're doing your part. It's like recycling. You're doing your part for the environment if you recycle; you're doing your part for the gay movement if you're out." -- Tennis champ Martina Navratilova to San Francisco Bay Times.

"I just wish more of my fellow queers would come out sometimes. It's nice out here, you know?" -- Elton John, accepting a Distinguished Achievement Award from Elizabeth Taylor at the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center's 25th anniversary blowout.

"I like dogs better [than people]. They give you unconditional love. They either lick your face or bite you, but you always know where they're coming from. With people, you never know which ones will bite. The difference between dogs and men is that you know where dogs sleep at night." -- Gay, HIV-positive Olympic gold-medal diver Greg Louganis to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and three hundred sixty two admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision." -- Lynne Lavner

"Feminism was established to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society." -- Rush Limbaugh, The Way Things Ought to Be.
Nazis : On homosexuals
The first homosexual rights movement seems to have originated in Germany in the late 19th century. For many years an academic journal - the Jahrbuch für sexuelle Zwischenstufen - was published and Germany had an active gay movement. This movement was ended when the Nazis, besotted with notions of racial purity and genetic deviants, took control. So absolute was there destruction of the gay movement that it was not known about in the post war years until the mid 1970's. It is important to recognised that the typology of the fetid and infectious homosexual preceeds the AIDS epidemic.
